With Wix, each of these steps is eliminated or as easy as pushing a few buttons.
Wix is a good alternative to WordPress if you are looking for an all-inclusive website builder.
Keep in mind that a fully managed drag & drop website builder like Wix doesn’t give you a team of designers and developers to build the website for you. You’ve still got to build the website yourself. But they do make it easier for you, and being “technical” is not necessarily required.
The key benefit is that Wix automates the technical aspects of managing and operating the website – so you don’t have to.
However, there are some limitations. Your choices are limited to the templates that Wix offers, which in most cases, is not a problem since they have a nice assortment to choose from. The bigger issue is that there are limitations in the extra features that they offer to build your website.
For a starter website, you may not find any problems with this, but as your business grows, you might find yourself needing additional features and eventually having to move to a different website platform like WordPress. If this is the case, it will ultimately cost you more money and hassle, because these drag and drop builders do not allow you to transfer files, so your web developer will end up having to create a whole new website from scratch.
